Julie K. Lundquist

Julie Lundquist is the Bloomberg Distinguished Professor of Atmospheric Science and Wind Energy at Johns Hopkins University. Lundquist is an atmospheric scientist who uses observational and computational approaches to understand the atmospheric boundary layer, with an emphasis on atmosphere-wind energy interactions. She holds appointments in the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the Whiting School of Engineering, and the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences in the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences. She is a core faculty member in the Ralph O’Connor Sustainable Energy Institute. She also holds a joint appointment at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Colorado.
